General: Turned in a standout freshman campaign, setting multiple freshman records. 2012/Freshman: Named the CACC Freshman of the Year after batting .429 with 76 hits, 17 doubles, a triple, nine home runs and 60 runs batted in… Also made the all-CACC first team and the Daktronics and NFCA all-East Region second teams… Led the CACC in homers, RBI and slugging percentage (.689), and ranked second in batting average and total bases (122)… Also was third in the league in doubles and fourth in hits… Set Caldwell’s freshman records for home runs, RBI, hits, total bases and slugging percentage… Drove in two or more runs in 17 games… Named CACC Rookie of the Week twice and CACC Player of the Week once… Had six RBI in a victory over Slippery Rock 3/13… Recorded seven RBI in a sweep at Concordia 4/5… Had four hits at the NCAA East Regional 5/4-6… Received NFCA Scholar Athlete Award. Prior to Caldwell: Two-time all-Group 4 and all-Ocean County honoree at Brick Memorial… Named to Star-Ledger all-State third team as a junior… Hit a Shore Conference-record 14 home runs as a junior… Led Ocean County with seven homers as a senior.
