Biography

General: Developing player who adds a left-handed arm to the Cougars’ bullpen. 2013/Junior: Appeared in nine games with one start… Went 0-1 with an earned run average of 6.86… Recorded five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings vs. St. Michael’s 3/10… Pitched 7 1/3 innings in his only start, allowing four runs, three earned, on 10 hits in a loss to Pace 4/4. 2012/Sophomore: Made three appearances in relief… Did not allow a hit over two scoreless innings of relief vs. C.W. Post 4/17. 2011/Freshman: Made seven appearances with one start… Helped the Cougars defeat Molloy 6-1 with a scoreless inning 3/13… Tossed three scoreless innings of relief against St. Thomas Aquinas 4/3.  Prior to Caldwell: Helped Sacred Heart High School win four division titles and two conference championships… Received all-conference honorable mention as a senior and made the second team as a junior… Reached base in 61 consecutive games during his junior and senior seasons at Sacred Heart.
