Alexis Palmieri was named Caldwell University assistant acrobatics and tumbling coach in July 2024 after recently graduating from Frostburg State University, where she was a four-year member of the Bobcats' acro team, including the program's inaugural squad in 2021.

Palmieiri, the team's 2022 Specialist of the Year in Pyramid, helped FSU to two MEC championships before earning her degree in sports and exercise science.

The Monroe Township, N.J. native comes from a gymnastics background, having competed at USAG level 10 at Head over Heels in Parlin, N.J.
