Biography

General: Excellent defensive player at first base and catcher. 2013/Junior: Started 43 of her 56 games played… Led the team with a .992 fielding percentage, committing three errors in 358 chances… Batted .233 with 15 runs, 21 hits, five doubles and 11 runs batted in… Homered against Dominican 4/18… Hit a two-run single in an 8-2 victory over Dowling at the NCAA East Regional 5/11… Made the CACC Spring All-Academic Team… Also received the Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. 2012/Sophomore: Played in 48 games with nine starts… Went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in against Pace 3/21… Hit two doubles and had two RBI in a win over Chestnut Hill 4/10… Scored a run as a pinch runner in a 2-1 victory over UMass-Lowell in the NCAA East Regional 5/5… Received NFCA Scholar Athlete Award. 2011/Freshman: Played in 42 games with 26 starts at first base and one at catcher… Went 2-for-3 with a homer at Philadelphia 4/3. Prior to Caldwell: Four-time first team all-league selection at Waterloo High School… Chosen her team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Named the Birdseye Player of the Year as a sophomore… Helped Waterloo win two Section V championships and three divisional titles.
