Biography

General: Control pitcher who threw Caldwell’s first nine-inning no-hitter as a freshman. 2013/Sophomore: Went 2-4 with an earned run average of 5.08… Struck out 40 batters and walked 17 in 51 1/3 innings… Made 11 appearances with seven starts…Went the distance in a win over Bloomfield 3/28, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out four… Tossed a six-hit shutout in a 6-0 victory over Philadelphia 4/6… Had nine strikeouts apiece vs. Felician 4/2 and Chestnut Hill 4/20.  2012/Freshman: Made six starts and posted a 2-3 record with an ERA of 3.43… Tossed a no-hitter vs. Felician, striking out six and walking two in nine innings 4/19… Earned his first collegiate victory with a complete-game effort at Queens, allowing three runs, two earned on 10 hits while fanning six 4/3. Prior to Caldwell: Played baseball for four years at Seton Hall Prep… Helped Seton Hall Prep win the Greater Newark Tournament and advance to the North Jersey, Non-Public A final in 2011.
