General: Experienced player who provides a veteran presence in the lineup and behind the plate. 2010/Junior: Started 12 of his 17 games played… Went 2-for-4 and hit his first career home run at Adelphi 4/5… Also went 2-for-4 at Post 4/7. 2009/Sophomore: Played in eight games, recording two hits and two runs batted in… Also started twice on the mound. 2008/Freshman: Saw action in 19 games with six starts… Had a double and a triple with two RBI… Also went 1-0 with an earned run average of 6.50 in five appearances… Earned first collegiate victory 4/7, striking out eight batters in seven innings in an 8-4 win over Chestnut Hill… Worked three innings of relief to earn a save vs. St. Thomas Aquinas 4/25. Prior to Caldwell: Batted .481 as a senior at St. Augustine Prep to earn first team all-conference honors… Chosen ESPN Radio Athlete of the Week in April of his senior season… Also selected to the all-conference second team as a freshman.
