Fanned eight batters vs. St. Michael’s 3/18. 2010/Sophomore: Made six appearances with five starts… Posted an 0-2 record with an ERA of 6.61… Struck out 39 batters while walking 19 in 31 1/3 innings… Tallied a career-high 11 strikeouts against Concordia 4/29.  2009/Freshman: Started twice in 10 appearances… Was 2-3 with a team-best 3.14 ERA… Fanned 31 batters and walked nine in 28 2/3 innings… Registered eight strikeouts vs. Post 3/25… Earned his first collegiate victory vs. Nyack 4/17, allowing four runs, one earned, and three hits in 5 1/3 innings of relief. Prior to Caldwell: Was his team’s top starter as a senior at St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows, N.Y… Went 5-2 in 2008… Helped his team reach the quarterfinals of the City Championship as a senior… Pitched St. Francis Prep into the 2007 City Championship game with a victory over Moore Catholic in the semifinals.
