General: Hard-throwing right-hander who will anchor the Cougars’ starting rotation. 2011/Junior: Went 1-7 with an earned run average of 4.43… Made 10 starts in 13 appearances… Led team with 67 strikeouts and 63.0 innings pitched… Recorded the save in a 7-6 victory over St. Michael’s 3/18… Earned a complete-game victory vs. Pace with 10 strikeouts 3/12… Fanned a career-high 15 batters in seven innings against Post 4/6… Allowed one run on five hits with 10 strikeouts in nine innings in an extra-inning victory over Post 4/11. 2010/Sophomore: Was 1-4 with an ERA of 6.61 in 13 appearances… Made four starts… Had a team-best three saves... Recorded 30 strikeouts and 18 walks in 31 1/3 innings… Earned the victory in relief at Felician 4/22, allowing three hits and a run in 1 1/3 innings… Struck out seven in 8.0 innings at USP 4/10. Also had seven hits, including two doubles, in 32 at-bats. 2009/Freshman: Made 10 appearances on the mound, starting four times… Hurled a three-hit shutout vs. St. Thomas Aquinas 3/15 in his first collegiate game… Selected CACC Rookie of the Week 3/17… Also topped USP 4/25, allowing four runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings… Went 7-for-20 (.350) as a hitter with two doubles and two runs batted in. Prior to Caldwell: Named second team all-Monmouth County by the Star-Ledger as a senior at Manalapan High School… Tied for the county lead in home runs with nine… Also hit three grand slams… Helped Manalapan reach the finals of the Monmouth County Tournament in 2008.
