General: Experienced starting pitcher who has thrown 132 1/3 innings over the past two seasons… Excellent control pitcher who has walked just 32 batters while fanning 110 in his career. 2007/Sophomore: Was 5-3 with an earned run average of 5.35… Made 10 starts in 17 appearances… Cougars were 7-3 in those starts… Ranked second on the team in innings pitched (69) and strikeouts (60)… Walked just 18 batters… Struck out nine batters in a victory over USP 4/13… Allowed one run on seven hits in a complete-game win at Nyack 4/19… Gave up six hits and two runs in 7 2/3 innings in a victory at Concordia 4/26… Pitched an outstanding game vs. Bryant 5/19 in the NCAA Regional, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out five in 8 1/3 innings. 2006/Freshman: Made an immediate impact on the Cougars’ pitching staff… Named to the all-CACC second team after leading Caldwell in wins (five), ERA (3.98) and innings pitched (63 1/3)… Struck out 50 while walking only 13… Had three complete-game victories… Named CACC and NJCBA Rookie of the Week two times apiece… Allowed one run and six hits in 7 1/3 innings vs. Philadelphia 3/31/06 for his first collegiate victory… Struck out a career-high nine batters with no walks in nine innings to defeat Dominican, 4-1 4/28/06… Also earned two saves.
