Prior to Caldwell: Received national attention and numerous accolades after pitching back-to-back perfect games during his junior year at Bayside High School… Fanned 11 batters while blanking John Browne High school on Apr. 11, 2006… Tied national record with second straight perfect game against Flushing High School on Apr. 25, 2006, striking out 16… Appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd… Named 2007 PSAL Player of the Year… Two-time all-City and all-Queens selection.
