Valladares Tallies, Women's Soccer Falls to Molloy in Home Opener

Sullivan Makes Season-Best Nine Stops

CALDWELL, N.J. -- Sophomore forward Brianna Valladares (North Plainfield, N.J.) scored on a nifty feed from senior defender Izzy Marin (South Plainfield, N.J.) in the 78th minute as Caldwell University women's soccer dropped a 6-1 verdict to Molloy University at Kiwanis Oval in the Cougars' home opener on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore GK Arianna Sullivan (New City, N.Y.) recorded a season-best nine saves in the contest.

Junior forward Valerie Monge (North Plainfield, N.J.) had a team-best three shots on goal for the Cougars (0-3).

The Cougars next visit Assumption University on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. start.
