CALDWELL, N.J. -- Junior forward
Bella Noble (Staten Island, N.Y.), junior midfielder
Sophia Llanes (Bloomfield, N.J.) and sophomore forward
Brianna Valladares (North Plainfield, N.J.) scored within a 10-minute span in the second half, lifting Caldwell University Women's Soccer to a 3-1 triumph over Post University at Caldwell Athletic Field on Wednesday afternoon. The win marked the first in the career of Head Coach
Kate Pellegrino and the first win of 2026 for the Cougars.
Trailing, 1-0, Caldwell got the equalizer when Noble ran under a free kick from senior midfielder
Yuli Amador (Union, N.J.) and headed it past the Post keeper in the 70th minute. Then eight minutes later, Amador served up another perfect free kick from close to midfield. Llanes corralled it and slipped it into the right corner of the net.
Then less than a minute later, in the 79th minute, Valladares took an errant pass and drilled it into the goal to cap the scoring.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Arianna Sullivan (New City, N.Y.) made five saves as Caldwell (1-8-1, 1-4 CACC) outshot the visitors, 19-9.
Lisbeth Constante had the Post goal in the 10th minute.
Caldwell next visits Lincoln on Friday at 1 p.m. in Pennsylvania.
