Olivia Oakley (Hopkinsville, Ky.) collected a career-best 23 digs as Caldwell University volleyball fell in its CACC home opener to Wilmington, 3-1, at the Newman Center on Thursday evening.
After the Wilcats (2-12, 1-1 CACC) took the first two sets, both by a slim 25-22 count, Caldwell stormed back to win the third, breaking open a narrow 18-16 lead with seven straight points, the last six on the service arm of Rudolph, who contributed an ace while senior hitter

Sarah Ojo (Richmond, Texas) added kills in the run for the 25-16 set win.
The Wildcats, behind Liani Sierra, who had 16 kills, 21 digs and 15 assists, closed out the match with a 25-10 four set triumph.
Rudolph added 10 digs to her performance, while Enabosi had eight kills and 13 digs, Ojo pitched in six kills and sophomore setter
Sienna Reddell (Roseville, Calif.) led four Cougars setters with 12 assists.
Caldwell (2-7, 0-2) next visits Southern Connecticut in a non-league matchup on Monday before returning to CACC play vs. Bridgeport on Wednesday at the Newman Center.
