NEWARK, Del. -- The anticipated rematch between last year's CACC Women's Soccer Championship Game participants ended with the same result as last November -- a Wilmington shutout victory over Caldwell, this time a 5-0 triumph for the Wildcats at WU Athletics Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
WilmU (2-3-1, 2-0 CACC) got on the board in the seventh minute, maintaining its slim 1-0 edge until three goals in a four-minute span midway through the first half put the match decisively in the hosts' favor.
The Cougars (0-6, 0-2) managed eight shots, two each by senior midfielder
