Valerie Castro (Burlington Twp., N.J.) and senior
Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.) all secured spots in next month's CACC Championships with solid finishes, leading the Caldwell University women's track & field contingent at the Shippensburg Invitational on Thursday.
Tschopp placed fifth in the 100, an event she had already qualified at, in 12.42 seconds. She qualified on Thursday in the 200 2ith a 26.39, good for a 13th place finish.
Juleus was a double qualifier, earning berths in the 100 (12.85, 11th place) and 200 (26.67, 14th).
Castro made it three qualifiers in the 100 with a 12th place finish in 12.88.
And Pollock took ninth in both the 200 (26.25, qualified) and 400 (1:00.49, had already qualified).

Angel Cruz-Fletcher (Bloomfield, N.J.), Juleus and Tschopp took gold at 49.21, establishing a new school record.
Other strong performances included:

- Freshman Lizbeth Castillo (West New York, N.J.), 1500m, 9th, 5:45.62
- Soph Ria Datta (Edison, N.J.), high jump, 7th, 1.50m (already qualified)
- Freshman Juliana Ballesteros (Union, N.J.), javelin, 11th, 29.04 (already qualified)
The Cougars next travel a few miles south to the Kean University Cougar Showcase next Thursday.
