NEWARK, Del. -- Senior Edwin Himmel-Maines (Delta, Pa.) recorded 15 saves and senior midfielder Zakkery Glatfelter (New Oxford, Pa.) had the Cougars goal in a 30-1 defeat at Wilmington in Caldwell's men's lacrosse CACC opener on Wednesday at WU Athletics Complex.

Glatfelter's tally came with 22 seconds left in the half, with an assist by junior attacker Michael Spitz (Ringwood, N.J.). 

Himmel-Maines played the first half, before freshman Shafin Choudhury (Paterson, N.J.) took over in the second half and made three stops.

The Cougars next visit No. 13/12 Mercy on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., in a homecoming of sorts for CU Head Coach Dominic Scorcia, one of the Mavericks' most decorated lacrosse student-athletes.
