Summer Ciresi (Pequannock, N.J.) and freshman midfielder
Gianna Camporeale both scored their respective second goals in as many career games as Caldwell Women's Lacrosse fell, 18-2, to Millersville University in a non-league matchup held at the U.S.A. Lacrosse headquarters on Tuesday.
Ciresi tallied from the free position at 11:35 in the second quarter to get CU on the board.
Camporeale tallied with just over 10:00 left in the contest for the Cougars' second marker of the day.
Senior GK
Serena Barra (Cranford, N.J.) and classmate
Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) made two stops apiece, each playing one half in net.
Freshman midfielder
Zoe Rocha (Houston) had two draw controls, took two shots and caused two turnovers for the Cougars.
Caldwell next hosts Molloy on March 18 in its home opener at Kiwanis Oval.
