Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) co-led with five kills each as Caldwell volleyball fell in three sets to visiting St. Thomas Aquinas in a non-league matchup at the Newman Center on Friday evening.
After dropping the first set, 25-15, Caldwell (0-11) jumped out to early leads of 7-2 and 12-6, with kills by freshman hitter
Marley Rudolph (Hampstead, Md.) and Schubert-Brown followed by two straight from Enabosi capping the early rally. CU still led, 19-16 on kills by senior setter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif) and Schubert-Brown, but STAC (3-7) would score nine of the last 11 points to take the set.
The Cougars battled in the third as well, a double block by Gatz and McEwan pulling CU to within 22-20 before three straight STAC points closed out the match.

Ava Railton (Santa Rose Beach, Fla.) and senior DS
Torrien Jones (Camp Springs, Md.) anchored the Cougars defense, delivering eight digs each.
Laura Rojas Gomez led the Spartans with 13 kills.
Caldwell gets right back at it with a CACC matchup at Wilmington on Saturday at 11 a.m.
