NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Freshman Lizbeth Castillo (West New York, N.J.) has been selected both the CACC Women's Cross Country Co-Runner and Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sunday, the league announced today.

Castillo was the Cougars' top finisher at Saturday's St. Joseph's University (L.I.) Golden Eagle Invitational in Sunken Meadow State Park, taking sixth at 20:43.10. That followed up last week's fine 18th in her first collegiate action at the Stevens "Back to the Bowl" Invitational, which earned her weekly honor roll.

Castillo looks to keep the momentum flying at the Osprey Open in Galloway N.J. on Saturday.
