Five Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes Earn CACC All-Academic Honors
McEwan, Kelty, Zimos, Johnson,Vitella Among League's Elite Scholars
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Five Caldwell Women's Lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team, the league announced today.
The honored Cougars are:
Alexa McEwan (Beachwood, N.J.) Senior, 3.90 GPA, Health Science
Crystal Johnson (Gloucester City, N.J.) Senior, 3.78 GPA, Criminal JusticeÂ
Isabella Vitella (Roseland, N.J.) Senior, 3.94 GPA, Communications & Media StudiesÂ
Janea Kelty (West Milford, N.J.) Graduate Student, 3.77 GPA, Curriculum and Instruction Â
Marybeth Zimos (Hicksville, N.Y.) Sophomore, 3.62 GPA, Criminal JusticeÂ
McEwan and Vitella are two-sport athletes that also earned CACC All-Academic honors in the fall in volleyball and soccer, respectively.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution, prior to Spring 2025; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
