Peter Johnson (Cedar Grove, N.J.) flipped two assists as Caldwell men's lacrosse fell to Bridgeport, 17-7, in its home finale at Kiwanis Oval on a windy Wednesday afternoon.
The Cougars got on the board five minutes into the game on an extra-man goal by Pinkham. They wouldn't score again until early in the third, when a Glatfelter marker started a 4-1 Cougars run that pulled the hosts to within 13-5 at the end of the third, another goal by Glatfelter and tallies by senior defender
Owen Tarnowski (Roxbury, N.J.) and Pinkham closing out the period.
Junior midfielder
Jimmy Novak (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) notched his second goal of the season before Glatfelter finished the scoring with just over 2:00 left.
Pinkham and sophomore defender
James McCarthy (Middletown, N.J.) collected five ground balls each and Tarnowski caused three turnovers to pace the defense.
Caldwell finishes the season at Wilmington on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
