Katie O'Connor (Charlottesville, Va.) pitched a complete game nine-hitter in the nightcap as the Cougars swept a pair of CACC softball contests at Post at LaMoy field on Thursday. The wins stretched the squad's season-long win streak to seven, and pushed the team's mark (14-13 overall, 7-1 CACC) past the .500 mark for the first time this season.

In the nightcap, the Cougars again jumped out to a 4-0 edge, plating single runs in the first and second on RBI by Oller and Vondracek, then doubled their lead on a two-run hit by Nazionale. O'Connor was masterful against the Eagles (1-19, 0-4), picking up where she left off at the end of game one by scattering nine hits and walking just one for her team-best sixth win of the year.
The Cougars take a whole day off before visiting Jefferson on Saturday in a CACC doubleheader in Philadelphia before returning home Monday vs. Queens.
