Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) has been named CACC Bowler of the Year for the second straight season, also earning First Team All-CACC honors, the league announced today. Sophomore
Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) was selected to the All-CACC Second Team in voting by the league's coaches.
Marks led the league in individual scoring average (20.375 pins/frame overall, 20.189 in Baker, 20.632 in Traditional), almost a full pin more than the next competitor, frame fill percentage (86.5%), strike percentage (50.6%), spare percentage (92.2%) and pretty much every statistical category the league publishes.
Marks was named CACC Bowler of the Week three times and to the weekly Honor Roll five times. She also earned All-CACC First Team honors in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
Sardis was ninth in the league in individual scoring average (18.20 pins/frame) and frame fill percentage (78.1%) while placing in the top 10 in numerous other categories. She was the CACC Bowler of the Week on Nov. 14, following a 208.2 average and pinfall 68 pins clear of the entire field at the CACC Invitationanal #1.
The duo helped lead the Cougars to a 13 13-5 regular season CACC record and #2 seed in this weekend's CACC Championships at Pike Lanes in Southampton, Pa.
