CALDWELL, N.J. -- Sophomore guard
Jah'Nel Lewis (Jersey City, N.J.) has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Second Team, the organization announced today. The leading scorer *18.2 ppg) in the CACC and First Team All-League honoree led the Cougars to a 17-13 mark, their most wins in seven years.
Lewis, whose 992 points rank 13th in Caldwell's Division II history (2003-present) after her second season in red and white, netted 20 or more poins in 12 games in 2024-25, including a career-high 36 vs. Bloomfield on March 1 and 24 vs. Chestnut Hill in the CACC Tournament QF win on March 4. In addition to her scoring prowess, she placed  fifth in steals (1.8) and eighth in assists (2.8) in the league.
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II East Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month.
The D2CCA First Team was Player of the Year, Melanie Hoyt of Saint Anselm;Â Jenalyse Alarcon, College of Staten Island; Cassie Murphy, Thomas Jefferson University; Delaney Haines, Southern Connecticut State University; and Maggie Whitmore, Bentley University.
Joining Lewis on the Second Team are Nkiru Awaka, Queens College; Marina Callahan, Assumption University; Kylie DuCharme, Bentley University; Taylor Hinkle, Holy Family University; and Colette Mulderig, Franklin Pierce University.
