TAMPA, Fla -- Freshman 3B Lindsay Oller (South Plainfield, N.J.) rapped out three hits and senior SS Ashleigh Tavaska had one in each game as Caldwell softball fell, 11-0 and 7-2, to the University of Tampa at Naimoli Field on Wednesday.

In Game two, the Cougars scored in the fourth when senior 2B Grace Vondracek (Odessa, N.Y.) scored on a grounder by freshman DP Maddie Matkosky (Horseheads, N.Y.) and again in the sixth when senior 1B Brooke Martin (Oakland, Maine) led off the inning with a double and later scored on Tavaska's ground out.

The Cougars (0-9) return North to open CACC play on Saturday at Goldey-Beacom before hosting Assumption on Sunday at noon at Caldwell Athletic Field.
