Jessica George (South Brunswick, N.J.) had a big day scoring six goals as women's lacrosse (0-4) fell to the American International College Yellow Jackets (2-4) 18-15 at Abdow Field on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Graduate student midfielder
Janea Kelty (West Milford, N.J.), and freshman midfielder
Gloria Carpenter (Los Angeles) assisted on three of George's goals. Carpenter had two assists on goals scored by George.
Carpenter's other assist came on a man-up advantage where sophomore midfielder
Tiana Cipot (North Brunswick, N.J.) scored.
It was an exciting game that featured both teams exchanging leads. Caldwell played from behind for most of the match, but held a two goal lead twice in the first period.
AIC was able to maintain their multi-goal advantage for a majority of the game and held off CU for the victory.
Cipot tied her season-high with four goals scored.

Meghan Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) and graduate student midfielder
Janea Kelty (West Milford, N.J.) each scored two goals and had two assists.

Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) made 14 saves in the loss.
Caldwell will return home for the first of a three-game homestand and face the Dominican Chargers in a CACC matchup at the Kiwanis Oval on Saturday morning at 10 AM.
