NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Junior guard Brooke Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named CACC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today. It's the second such honor for Corbett, who was the league's 2024-25 Defensive Player of the Week.

And junior guard Jah'Nel Lewis (Jersey City, N.Y.) earned the league's weekly Honor Roll for the third straight week.

Corbett collected seven rebounds, five steals and a block to go with four assists, six points in 19 minutes in a win over Wilmington on Friday. She then followed up with a near triple-double, recording 10 steals and 11 points to go with nine rebounds and three assists against Saint Michael's on Sunday.

In that game, she helped CU hold the NE10's second-highest scoring team in SMC 25 points below its scoring average for the year.
