Sam Porthouse (Gateshead, England) each beat the University of District Columbia Firebirds (5-3-3) keeper for a goal as Caldwell (3-6-3) came back from a 2-0 hole to earn a 2-2 tie.

Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) made two saves in the 2-2 tie.
Rake scored his team-leading seventh goal in the 31st minute, just seconds after the Firebirds had taken the two-goal lead. Junior forward
Hugo Thell (Hoganas, Sweden) collected his first two assists of the season on both goals.
Porthouse tallied his first goal of the year in the 46th minute to help the Cougars pull even at two. Sophomore defender
Pieter Hengeveld (Weert, Netherlands) earned his first assist on Porthouse's marker as well .
After UDC scored two goals in the first half, it was CU who flipped the script and took home the hard fought draw.
Caldwell outshot UDC by a 19-8 advantage in the contest, including 13-5 in the first half.
CU returns home for a CACC matchup against the 23rd-ranked Wilmington University Wildcats on Saturday at 2:30 PM.
