NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Junior forward Lucy Coogan (Kilkeny, Ireland) has been named CACC Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Coogan had a game- and season-high 27 points and added a team-best 10 rebounds in Caldwell's 77-69 triumph over Staten Island on Saturday. Coogan, who ranks fourth in the CACC in scoring at 16.5 ppg and ninth in rebounding at 7.2 rpg, recorded her third double-double of the season in the victory.

Coogan has scored in double figures in each of the Cougars' 12 games to date, with 20 or more in four contests. 

The honor was the second of the season for Coogan, who shared this week's award with Dominican's Tanasha Mills.

Caldwell (7-5) visits Molloy in a non-league matchup in Rockville Centre, N.Y. on Tuesday.
