CALDWELL, N.J. -- Junior hitter Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) had team-bests of seven kills and seven digs and junior setter Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) posted a team-high nine assists as Caldwell volleyball fell to defending CACC champion Bridgeport, 3-0, at the George R. Newman Center Wednesday evening.

Caldwell's most competitive set was the second, when they reeled off our straight points, including three consecutive service aces by junior DS Torrien Jones (Camp Springs, Md.) to get to within 20-15. But UB (5-3, 1-0 CACC) scored five of the next six to put away the set.

Caldwell (0-5, 0-0) got five kills from senior hitter Natalie Piper (Long Beach, Calif.), while Mack added four kills and three digs to her effort.

Caldwell next steps out of CACC play, hosting West Chester on Saturday at 2 p.m.
