CALDWELL, N.J. -- Three home games, including a matchup with three-time defending champion Navy and a road contest at perennial power Army highlight the seven-game Caldwell University Sprint Football schedule, announced today by first-year Head Coach Louie Matsakis.
On Friday, Sept. 20, 100 days from today, the Cougars host Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) South foe Chestnut Hill in their opener in Conshohocken, Pa., at 7 p.m. After a bye and a road contest at new CSFL member Molloy on Friday, Oct. 4 (7 p.m.) in Uniondale, N.Y., the Cougars draw Mansfield for their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 12 at James Caldwell H.S. in West Caldwell.
The challenging slate also features a visit to Army West Point on Friday, Oct. 18 (7 p.m.) and the regular-season finale vs. Navy on Saturday, Nov. 9 (6 p.m.), sandwiched around a home game vs. Penn (Saturday, Oct. 26, 4 p.m.) and visit to STAC (Friday, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.).
The top finisher in the CSFL North and South standings will meet in the CSFL Championship Game the weekend of Nov. 15-17, site TBD. Dates and times are subject to change.
