Marzooq Tallies Three in Women's Lacrosse Season Finale at Wilmington

Korzevinski, Cipot Also Score in Defeat

NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Graduate attacker Tala Marzooq (Manama, Bahrain) scored three goals and freshman midfielder Tiana Cipot (No. Brunswick, N..J.) and sophomore midfielder Meghan Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) had one each as Caldwell women's lacrosse completed its season with a 26-5 defeat at Wilmington in CACC action at Wilmington University Athletics Complex.

Marzooq got the Cougars (3-9, 1-8 CACC) on the board five minutes into the game when she recorded an unassisted tally, then added another five minutes later.

Korzevinski and Marzooq then put in consecutive goals in the final 1:10 of the quarter for a 9-4 WU lead.

Cipot completed the scoring with a goal with under 3:00 to play.
