Jayden Paladino (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored the game-tying goal with 5:13 left, the eventual game-winner with 2:48 remaining, and an insurance goal with under 2:00 to go, as part of a six-goal afternoon as Caldwell men's lacrosse took a CACC contest from Dominican, 13-10, at rainy Essex Valley Field.
The Cougars scored seven of the game's first nine markers in building a five-goal edge midway through the second quarter. Soph attackman
Gavin Starr (Montgomery, N.Y.) and Paladino had two each during that run.
After the Chargers (3-5, 1-2 CACC) took the lead at 10-9 with 7:15 left in regulation, Paladino netted an unassisted tally to tie the game, then took feeds from senior MF Peter  Johnson (Cedar Grove,  N.J.), who finished with three assist on the day. Sophomore midfielder
Zakkery Glatfelter (New Oxford, Pa.) tossed in another with under a minute to play to close the scoring.

Valentine Soltys (Westmont, N.J.) won the faceoffs following the game's last five goals, helping Caldwell (3-4, 2-1) maintain possession and secure the victory.

The Cougars continue CACC play at Chestnut Hill on Saturday in Philadelphia.
