Tiana Cipot (No. Brunswick, N..J.) netted two as Caldwell Women's Lacrosse dropped its opening game, 20-6, at St. Thomas Aquinas at Spartan Field on Friday.
The game also marked the debut of Caldwell University Head Coach
Amanda Picozzi.
Cipot got the Cougars on the board on an unassisted marker with 5:39 left in the first. She scored another on a free position shot at 10:17 in the second, immediately followed by Korzevinski's first goal on an assist by graduate
Tala Marzooq (Manama, Bahrain), who fed a nice pass from the fan down to Korzevinski, who put it past the keeper.
CU scored three times in the fourth, Korzevinski assisting on the first Caldwell goal by graduate midfielder
Janea Kelty (West Milford, N.J.), before Korzevinski took another Marzooq feed for her second goal of the day.
Junior
Brady Kells (Parsippany, N.J.) capped the scoring with the final goal of the game, unassisted in the final minute.

Serena Barra (Cranford, N.J.) made 12 stops in goal in 45 minutes of play, while classmate
Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) made two saves in the final 15:00.
The Cougars (0-1) take on Chestnut Hill on Tuesday in Philadelphia in their next action.
