BLOOMFIELD, N.J. -- Freshman guard Jahnel Lewis (Jersey City, N.J.) scored 18 points and soph Lucy Coogan (Kilkenny, Ireland) added 12 as Caldwell women's basketball concluded the 2023-24 campaign with a 74-66 loss to Bloomfield in a CACC matchup at Bloomfield Gym.

The Cougars led briefly in the third quarter, 38-34 following a 7-0 run which included layups by Lewis, soph guard Amyah Bray (Manchester, N.J.) and graduate forward Sophia DeMauro (New York). But the Bears (7-19, 5-11) took back the lead with 12 straight of their own to take the lead for good.

Bray finished with 10 points and five steals and matched Coogan with nine rebounds each. Freshman guard Brooke Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) had seven points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Freshman guard Brianna Carey (Clifton Park, N.Y.) pitched in with eight points for Caldwell (8-19, 4-12).
