NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Sophomore guard Lucy Coogan (Kilkenny, Ireland) has been named the CACC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her efforts in two Cougars contests last week.

In Tuesday's win over Wilmington, Coogan delivered a career-high 34 points, draining four of seven three pointers among her 14 made field goals on the day to lead CU to the victory. She also grabbed 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the year.

Coogan followed up with a 19-point, six-rebound performance in the Cougars' overtime defeat at Goldey-Beacom on Saturday.

Coogan is seventh in the league in scoring (14.7 ppg) and ninth in three point field goal percentage (33.3%).

The Cougars return to action on Wednesday vs. Bridgeport.
