Caldwell University To Host Play4Kay Basketball Event November 23 At George R. Newman Center

On Campus Basket Raffles, Bake Sales in November, Halftime Activities During Women’s Contest vs. Mercy Help Promote Unity in the Fight Against Cancer; Funds Raised in Support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund

Caldwell, N.J.–The Caldwell University Athletics Department in partnership with the Sports Marketing and Communication Class, jointly presents an exciting event to help in our fight against breast cancer, the Play4Kay Basketball Event, when Caldwell women's basketball hosts Mercy University on Saturday, November 23 at 3 p.m. at the George R. Newman Center.

This special game is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting cancer research through the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Play4Kay honors the memory of Coach Kay Yow and promotes unity in the fight against cancer.

Leading up to game day, the Caldwell community will have opportunities to support this cause through bake sales and raffle baskets held at the Cougar Den throughout November. On game day, halftime will feature a tribute ceremony honoring cancer survivors and reflecting on the strength of those impacted by the disease.

Admission to the game is free for Caldwell students, $5 for seniors, children, and students from other schools, and $10 for adults.

The Caldwell University community is invited to attend, wear pink, and show support as the Cougars take on Mercy University. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Newman Center on November 23 at 3 PM to support this cause together.
