NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Second-seeded Caldwell University made history Tuesday night as the Cougars claimed the inaugural Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rocket League Championship via a 4-2 win over No. 1-seed Post University in the 2024 final contested virtually at each school's respective campus.

The Cougars and Eagles made conference history by competing in the first E Sports Championship Final. Bloomfield College and Goldey-Beacom College will square off in the 2024 CACC Super Smash Bros. Championship Final on Friday night at 8:30 p.m., as that title matchup will conclude the inaugural E Sports season in CACC history.

In Tuesday night's Rocket League final, Caldwell was led by sniper50k, d., Lizard-., as the trio claimed a 3-1 win in game six to seal the conference title for the Cougars.
