After the hosts scored in the eighth minute for a 1-0 lead, the Cougars (10-3-1, 8-1) got the equalizer less than five minutes later on a penalty kick by freshman midfielder

The score remained that way through halftime and into the second, when Martinez scored, assisted by freshman defender
Ayla Fraser (Passaic, N.J.) for the lead. Then in the 69th minute, junior forward
Taina Gervais (Port-Au-Prince, Haiti) scored her league-leading 13th goal for the insurance marker.
Caldwell outshot Chestnut Hill, 16-15, including 11-9 goal, in the closely fought contest.Â
The Cougars next visit Bridgeport on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before returning home for their final home game of the regular season next Saturday, Nov. 2, vs. Jefferson on Senior Day at Caldwell Athletic Field.
The Cougars have clinched a berth in the CACC Tournament, which begins Nov. 11. They can secure a home game in the first round by finishing
first or second in the standings.
