SINKING SPRINGS, PA -- Senior Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) placed second overall on the first day of action at the Golden Bear Invite, averaging 205 to pace Caldwell Bowling's effort as the squad won two of five matches.

Mars posted high scores of 237 and 225 on the day, totaling 1025 pins. Sophomore Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) averaged 167, with a best of 198.

Other standouts for the Cougars in the top 50 in total pinfall included soph Allie Rumfield (Phillipsburg, N.J.) with 675 (average 168.75) in four games and junior Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.) right behind with 618 (154.5) in four.
