Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) showed her versatility with her first triple-double of the season, netting 10 kills, 19 assists and 14 digs as the Caldwell volleyball team (0-2) fell at home to Queens (3-1), 3-1.
After Queens won the first set, 25-17, the Cougars battled back with an inspired second, taking a 25-16 win that finished on a block by junior hitter
Alexa McEwan (Beachwood, N.J.) followed by a kill by junior hitter
Natalie Piper (Long Beach, Calif.) to close the set.Â
Sophomore hitter
Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) had eight kills and freshman hitter
Andrea Enabosi (Piscataway, N.J.) had seven, while sophomore setter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) had a team-best 21 assists.
Soph Libero
Amber Gallo had a game-best 18 digs for the Cougars.
