Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) delivered 10 kills, 12 digs and six assists and sophomore setter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) registered 18 assists, but the Cougars volleyball team fell at CACC foe Bridgeport (9-2, 2-0 CACC), 3-1, on Thursday at Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium.

The Cougars wouldn't go away, though, battling to take a 21-28 lead on a kill by Schiltz, who finished with seven kills, then won three of the next four points, capped by a kill by Sherwood, for a 24-20 lead. After a UB point, the Cougars won the set on a service error.
The Purple Knights then took the fourth set for the 3-1 win.
Enabosi also had seven kills, adding six digs, and Mack contributed nine digs. sophomore Libero
Amber Gallo (Toms River, N.J.) was the team's top defender with seven digs for Caldwell.
The Cougars (1-7, 1-3), step out of Conference play next week, hosting Southern Connecticut on Tuesday and visiting Adelphi on Thursday before returning to CACC action on Sept. 30 vs. Jefferson at the Newman Center.
