W. CALDWELL, N.J. -- Graduate attacker
Emily Lasko (Jackson, N.J.) scored three goals and eight standouts played their last games for Caldwell on Senior Day as the Cougars fell, 22-10, to CACC foe Bridgeport (6-8, 5-5 CACC) at Essex Valley Field. Sophomore attacker
Madison Ellis (Wayne, N.J.) and freshman midfielder
Megan Molinelli (East Windsor, N.Y.) also had three goals for the hosts.
Ellis tallied twice in the first quarter, one on a feed from Molinelli, who finished with team-bests of three assists and 11 draw controls, and the other unassisted to pull the Cougars (2-13, 1-10) to within 4-2. But the Purple Knights scored the next five wrapping around into the second quarter before three Molinelli goals made it 10-5 with 8:36 left in the half, the closest the Cougars would get the rest of the way.
Freshman
Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) recorded six saves in the first three quarters of play and classmate
Serena Barra (Cranford, N.J.) stopped three shots in the last 15 minutes.
The Cougars concluded the season, marking the conclusion of the collegiate careers of Lasko, fellow graduate
