Madison Ellis (Wayne, N.J.) recorded game-highs of six goals and three assists, leading the Caldwell women's lacrosse team to a 19-5 CACC triumph over Alliance at Berry Lane Park. Ellis was supported on offense by senior attacker/midfielder
Kelsey Maxwell (Center Moriches, N.Y.) with four goals and an assist and graduate attacker
Emily Lasko (Jackson, N.J.) with three goals and two assists.
The Cougars (2-6, 1-3 CACC) scored the first five goals of the game, two by Maxwell, two by Lasko and the fifth by freshman midfielder
Megan Molinelli (East Windsor, N.Y.). They matched with a 5-1 second quarter, including two Ellis markers, for a 10-2 halftime lead.

Meghan Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) had two goals each for the Cougars.
Freshmen
Serena Barra (Cranford, N.J.) and
Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) split the time in goal; Barra recorded six saves in the first half, and Schneider stopped five Alliance (0-8, 0-2) shots in the second.
Caldwell returns to action on Friday at 4 p.m. vs. Holy Family, in a game originally scheduled for Saturday, at Essex Valley Field.
