CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell in a pair of games to Felician University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader.

The Cougars fall to 6-10 overall and 0-3 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 10-15 and 3-0 in conference play.

 In the opener, junior
Zach Saunders (Adelphi, Md.) went 3-for-5 in the opener with a double, triple and two runs scored in the Cougars 19-8 setback to the Golden Falcons. Freshman
Christopher Bayo (Miami, Fla.) added a 2-for-4 showing at the plate with one RBI, while freshman
Joshua Lopez (Nanuet, N.Y.) blasted a three-run homerun in game one.

Caldwell was limited to two hits in the nightcap on singles by Lopez and senior
Elias Negron (Virginia Beach, Va.). The Cougars scored one run on an error, while freshman
Michael Cruz (Miami, Fla.) lifted a sacrifice fly in the second inning.

The Cougars travel to Chestnut Hill College for a CACC doubleheader on Sunday, March 26 at noon.
