WATERBURY, Conn. - Sophomore attacker Madison Ellis (Wayne, N.J.) scored three goals and freshman midfielder Megan Molinelli (East Windsor, N.Y.) and senior defender Phoebe Ohnemuller (Mays Landing, N.J.) each had a goal and assist as Caldwell women's lacrosse (1-5, 0-2) fell at CACC foe Post (2-4, 1-1).

After falling behind early, Ellis and sophomore defender Brady Kells (Parsippany, N.J.) closed the first quarter with consecutive goals. Ellis' second tally early in the third made the score 9-3 in favor of the Eagles, and would be the closest CU would get the rest of the way.

Freshman goalkeeper Serena Barra (Cranford, N.J.) made eight saves.

Caldwell hosts CACC opponent Wilmington on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Essex Valley Field in their next action.
