GREENWOOD, Ind. - Coming off two resounding home victories at the Caldwell Conference Challenge over the weekend, Caldwell men's basketball checks in at No. 4 in the first Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) East Region Poll, announced today by the organization.

Bentley, with four first place votes among the six regional voters (two from each of the three East Region conferences, the CACC, East Coast Conference and NE10), tops the initial poll, followed by a tie for second between St. Anselm and STAC, which each received one first place vote, then Caldwell, Southern New Hampshire, Daemen, Southern Connecticut, Pace, Dominican and Jefferson.

The first national poll, comprised of two voters from each of the eight NCAA Division II regions, will be announced on Wednesday.

The Cougars, off to a 2-0 start for the first time since the 2011-12 season, visit Bloomsburg on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in their next action.
