PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Caldwell University women's basketball senior
Casey O'Shaughnessy (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted 15 points as the Cougars second half comeback fell short in a 61-55 loss to Chestnut Hill College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 10-10 on the season and 6-6 in the CACC, while the Griffins improve to 13-7 and 8-3 in conference play.

Rebecca Morrison (Ayrshire, Scotland) drained a triple on the opening possession as the Cougars jumped out to a 7-2 lead over the first three minutes. The Griffins answered as they pushed ahead 18-12 early in the second quarter.
Caldwell closed the gap to 18-14 following a pair of O'Shaughnessy free throws at the 8:09 mark. Chestnut Hill extended their lead to 10 points but a pair of three-pointers by freshman
Amyah Bray (Manchester, N.J.) helped the Caldwell trim the score to 32-24 at halftime.
Chestnut Hill scored the first basket of the third quarter to take a 10-point lead but the Cougars rallied back. O'Shaughnessy scored six points as part of a 12-4 run to pull Caldwell to within two points at 38-36 with four minutes to play in the third quarter.
The Griffins pushed ahead 47-41 early in the fourth quarter but Caldwell answered with a run. The Cougars answered with a 10-4 run as Morrison drained a triple. Freshman
Lucy Coogan (Kilkenny, Ireland) connected on a trifecta at the 5:53 mark to tie the score at 51. Chestnut Hill scored the next six points and hit four free throws down the stretch to hold off the Cougars.
O'Shaughnessy led the way with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Morrison finished with nine points and six boards, while graduate
Saundra Cleckley (Far Rockaway, N.Y.) added eight points and seven rebounds.
