KUTZTOWN, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell in a non-conference match 3-0 to Kutztown University.
The Cougars fall to 2-5 on the season, while the Bears improve to 5-4.
Kutztown took the opening set 25-15 and won the next two sets 25-23 and 25-13.
Junior
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) posted eight kills, 10 assists, two total blocks and nine digs in the match. Freshman
Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) added seven kills and four digs, while junior
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) recorded five kills.
Graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) finished with 14 assists and seven digs, while graduate
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led the team with 19 digs.
The Cougars return home for a conference match against the University of Bridgeport on Wednesday, September 13 at 7 pm.
