UNIONDALE, N.Y.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell in a non-conference game 15-1 to Molloy College.

The Cougars fall to 14-22 overall, while the Lions improve to 28-11.

Molloy scored nine run in the first inning to take an early lead.

Caldwell got their lone run in the second as sophomore
Noah Putney (Glassboro, N.J.) led off the inning with a single. Senior
Jalen March (Baltimore, Md.) followed with a double to score Putney.

Michael Deusch (Oceanport, N.J.) tossed three scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit and striking out three.

The Cougars travel to Post University for a conference contest on Wednesday, April 27 at 3 pm.
